This variation is best suited for clients with decreased oral sensory responsiveness who benefit from additional sensory input to promote food acceptance and lip engagement.
Therapy Goals
- Provide textured sensory input to the tongue and lower lip to increase oral awareness
- Encourage acceptance of varied food textures through graduated sensory exposure
